Hello Heroes customers!
Here we are, closing out the month of July with one last wallet-busting week!
This week sees the I-can't-believe-it-actually-came-out Batman: Widening Gyre #6 hit shelves, accompanied by Action Comics #891 (continuing the story from the sold out Action Comics #890 - second prints on sale this week!), The Return of Bruce Wayne #4, new issues of both Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corps, J. Michael Straczynski's first full issue as the new writer of Wonder Woman (#601 - SEE "SPECUALTOR'S SPACE!"), Stephen King's last issue of American Vampire (#5), the first part of the X-Men's post-Messiah Complex storyline - called "The Five Lights" - in Uncanny X-Men #526, and - this one's for you, Andy!!!! - Secret Avengers #3.

This event wil be run on Saturday, July 24 at 2pm Entry Cost: $20 USD Format: Players will receive a random Class Starter Deck and compete in a Swiss tournament with single-game matches and thirty minute rounds. The number of rounds is determined by attendance per our tournament policy document. The table can be found at the bottom of this page. There is no deck building for this event. Participants will use 60-card Class Starter Decks right out of the box with the appropriate hero card. Cards from the Archives sampler cello insert should not be used. Prizes: Participation: The first 25 players to register will receive a participation prize. First Place: Blazing Hippogryph Loot card. Door Prize: Spectral Tiger Loot card. Every player that finishes this event and the judge for this event should be entered into a drawing to receive this prize.
